Tips for a successful (minimal whining) 12-hour drive with 16-month-old twins? Leave at 2:30AM. They’ll sleep for 6 hours, get up, have a little breakfast, play with the new stash of toys you so smartly packed, take a nap, have a little snack, and before you know it you’ll be at Grandma and Grandpa’s door for the hand off.
And, if you can swing it, the kids will ALWAYS sleep better tucked away in the guest bedroom at Grandma and Grandpa’s house as opposed to the large open hotel room where you and your hubby are still mulling around past 8pm. After all, Grandma and Grandpa probably want to spend every minute they can with the little buggers anyway, right?
We’ve got a lot of exciting things in store for 2012 (see below)!
