I’m the queen of going to the grocery store, coming home, and realizing that I’ve forgotten something (usually the item I originally went to the store for in the first place).
Well, if you ever have breaded chicken, or any kind of chicken or pork for that matter, that needs a little saucing up, try this (and if you’re having a hard time deciding between Mexican and Asian food, this is the perfect compromise!):
- 5 parts green salsa (mild or medium, your choice)
- 2 parts honey
- 1 part grape jelly
Adjust the mix to your taste. The piece of rice that weaseled its way into this mix (as shown in the picture) is optional.
