Well… I finally sat down and made a partial list of items we still need. I say “partial” because I know there’s more, I think my brain is just shutting some of it out for the moment to help me retain some sanity. Where on earth are we going to put all this stuff?
- 2 Car seats. We’ll be getting these new. When it has to do with safety, I don’t mess around!
- 2 Cribs, mattresses, and bedding. I found some terrific space-saving crib options at Ikea. And, best of all, they turn into toddler beds so we’ll get years of use out of them.
- 1 Stroller
. I’m keeping my eyes out for a used double Snap ‘n Go. After all, winter will be here before we know it so we won’t get a ton of use out of this, but I’m sure it will come in handy for a while.
- Bottles, bottles, and more bottles. While breastfeeding is our first choice, I’m not completely delusional!
- Bottle brush
(easy peasy).
- Diapers. I’m still up for cloth and supplementing with disposables when needed.
- Wipes.
- Dryer balls. No more dryer sheets!! They can ruin the quality of the cloth diapers.
- Charlie’s Soap
. A favorite for washing cloth diapers.
- 2 Diaper pails. One for cloth, one for disposables.
- Baby ear thermometer.
- Diaper rash ointment.
- Baby nail clipper.
- 2 bulb syringes for stuffy noses.
And, the list will continue, I’m sure.
- Double Blessings Breastfeeding Pillow
– $30 (like new from a couple who were unable to use it)
