So… you know how they (whoever “they” are) suggest that for every new piece of clothing you buy, you toss out two old ones? Well, when it comes to spring cleaning, perhaps it would be easier to follow these steps:
- Grab a large garbage bag.
- Remove all clothing from hangers and from within drawers, keeping track of the total number of pieces.
- Place all clothing into garbage bag.
- Bring to Goodwill, Salvation Army, or the charity of your choice.
- Go to the store and buy 1/3 the number you came up with in #2 above.
Done!
Heidi…I’ve been studying de-cluttering and other organizational tips for a LONG time and this is the BEST advice I’ve ever heard!
I second Vicki’s comment!
