What’s your guess?

Yesterday, it wasn’t raining and we weren’t watering the lawn.  Can you guess what’s going on in this picture (aside from me being at the worst angle for the sun to cast a huge shadow making me look like a whale)?

While you’re thinking about that, I’ll tell you about our Multiples Class experience last evening.  There were about 9 couples in the class, all having twins.  If I hadn’t already been doing my research from the day that I saw my two little beans on an ultrasound, I’d say it was an informative class.  The only part I’d caution when taking a class like this is that you are able to keep a positive mindset about keeping those little babies in the oven as long as possible, even after hearing about all the pre-term labor possibilities, the NICU (neo-natal intensive care unit), etc.  While every multiple mother should know the signs of pre-term labor, preeclampsia, and other issues, you can’t let it get into your skin.  Those are simply things to be aware of, just like you’re aware of when a stoplight is green and when it’s red.  I am positively shooting for 38 weeks.  That’s my (very strong) intention.

Ok, give up on the picture?  Believe it or not, that’s a trail of pee that Sam, our dog, made.  At 1 1/2 years old, he still pees like a girl and obviously didn’t have the patience to wait for it all to come out.  Instead, he thought he’d waddle down the sidewalk while finishing the job.
